NEW! Osage Orange Recurved Bow

Choctaw style bow completed!

The bow is a short Osage orange recurved design. The handle is wrapped with a strip of smoked brain tanned leather and the string is made from red and yellow fast flight. 42# @ 20” of draw. 19″ is a very safe draw length for this bow.

I made everything with hand tools—and with the exception of the metal and string—all materials were gathered from the woods.
