The Sami people are are an indigenous people of northern Europe inhabiting Sápmi, which today encompasses parts of northern Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Kola Peninsula of Russia. Here we have a beautiful Sami made knife! The blade is made of a carbon steel, the handle is made from birch wood, and the sheath is made from tanned reindeer hide. This knife measures out to 13 inches of total length, 8 inches of blade length, and 1/8 of an inch of blade thickness. The knife has minimal use, is shaving sharp, and is in great condition. This Sami knife is durable enough for light chopping tasks, and thin enough for fine carving. In my opinion, it is truly the perfect balance.
